Keeping up with all the bills and expenses of modern living can feel like a full-time job in itself!

To help with everyday costs, the act.gov.au website has a special Cost of living support page, including links to the different categories of support available to ACT residents.

Below the heading Help with everyday costs you can see some more categories, with information for how you can access assistance for:

  • Bills
  • Health care costs
  • Renting or buying a home
  • Transport.

Finding petrol prices in the ACT

The ACT Government uses the NSW FuelCheck website to provide petrol price information for ACT residents. From its home page, enter your suburb or location into its search box. A list of nearby petrol stations will appear showing you the latest fuel prices.
