How podcasts can help with overall wellbeing

You can use a podcast app to search for and subscribe to podcasts about mindfulness and meditation related topics.

To find out more about using the ABC listen app to access podcasts, visit the TV, movie and music streaming services course.

Useful mindfulness and meditation apps

Your smartphone’s app store has apps that guide you through meditation and mindfulness sessions. You can also create a session schedule, and the app will remind you when it’s time to do a session, by sending a notification to your phone. Some popular examples include:

  • Headspace
  • Calm
  • Healthy Minds Program

Some of these apps require a paid subscription to use after a trial period, while others are free.
