General
Most Automatic Teller Machines, or ATMs, have a big touchscreen and a keypad with physical buttons. The touchscreen shows instructions and banking options. The keypad shows numbers, plus Cancel, Clear and Enter keys.
To use an ATM, insert your card into the card reader. Then enter your PIN, when prompted, using the keypad.
For security, always cover your hand while you type the PIN.
If you make a mistake, press Clear and try again. When you're happy the PIN is correct, press Enter.
To stop using the ATM at any time, press Cancel to end your transaction and eject your card.
Once your PIN is accepted, you might see a list of suggestions or ads from your bank. Choose what you want to do from the options on the screen. For example, select Withdrawal by tapping firmly on the screen with your finger.
Next, tap on the account you want to withdraw from.
Now, choose an amount to withdraw. You can tap on a preset amount and press Enter. Or tap Other to type in a different amount using the ATM's keypad.
After a moment, the ATM will return your card and issue your cash. Remember to take them both before leaving the ATM.
