    Using other
    touchscreens

In our modern world, there seem to be touchscreens just about everywhere. Whether we are using the self-checkout at the supermarket or finding a particular shop in a mall, we are often faced with sophisticated touchscreens that we have to tap to make selections.

Another common touchscreen device is the Automated Teller Machine (or ATM) at the bank or shopping centre. Most ATMs operate in a very similar way, so if they are very new to you, you might find this course helpful to familiarise yourself with how they work.

Below you will find three options for learning about ATMs.

    • Watch it: There's a short video to watch, demonstrating how to use a typical ATM to withdraw some cash.
    • Read it: You can read all about using a typical ATM touchscreen in our handy online guide. You might also like to download the printable version of this guide to keep for future reference. You can find it in a range of languages under the Print the guide section at the bottom of this page.
    • Try it: For smart devices only. If you are using your smart device, why not have a go at using our practice ATM. This fun activity takes you through the steps to withdraw some cash from our Squirrel Bank machine!
