Welcome to the "How to block a number on iPhone" video course. In this video, you'll learn how to block unwanted phone calls and text messages on your iPhone.
From the Home screen, tap the phone icon to open the Phone app. On the screen that appears, find the Recent icon at the bottom. It looks like a clock. Now, tap on it.
The Recent screen shows a list of the people or phone numbers who have called, with the most recent at the top. Find the number that you want to block and tap the blue i icon to the right of it. From the options that appear, scroll to find Block Caller, which is red. Tap it and a pop-up will remind you that you won't be able to receive phone calls, messages or FaceTime video calls from this caller once you've blocked them. If that's okay, tap Block Contact.
The pop up closes and the option at the bottom of the list now shows Unblock Caller in blue. If you change your mind, tap this to unblock the number and they will be able to call you once more.
