Welcome to the "How to block an email in Yahoo Mail" video course. In this video, you'll learn how to block unwanted emails in Yahoo web mail. This demonstration uses the Chrome browser on a computer, but the steps are similar on a mobile device.
From your Inbox, click on an email from the sender you want to block, to open the message. Now, click on the More menu icon. It looks like three horizontal dots. From the dropdown list, find Block senders and click on it. A pop-up box will show the sender's email address and ask you to confirm that you want to block all future emails and delete existing emails from that sender. Click the OK button.
The email is deleted from your Inbox, and Yahoo will automatically direct future emails from that sender to the Junk folder. This helps ensure that your Inbox is kept clutter-free and only for messages that matter to you. A sender won't know that you've blocked them, and it may take a couple of days before you stop receiving unwanted emails from them.
