Type text into a text field
When using programs on your computer or browsing the internet, there may be times when you need to type some information into a box called a text field.
Examples of this might be when completing an online form (such as claiming a Medicare rebate), signing up for a newsletter, and even searching for things in a web browser.

You can use your mouse and keyboard to type text into a text field.
Use your mouse to move the cursor. Place the cursor over the text field. Left click once in the text field. Look for the blinking vertical line inside the text field to know that you can start typing.
