How to use Google Search
Google Search is a powerful search engine that you can use regardless of what type of browser you have installed on your computer.
In this course, we show you how to open Google Search and use it to search the internet.
Below you will find three different ways to learn about Google search. You can:

You can use Google Search to look up information on the internet.
First, open a web browser. Use your mouse to move the cursor on top of the address bar. Left click once on the address bar. Look for the blinking vertical line inside the address bar to know that you can start typing. Type google.com.au and press the Enter key on your keyboard to open Google Search.
Left click once in the box in the centre of the Google Search page. A blinking vertical line will appear to let you know you can start typing. Type a phrase or question about what you want to find. Press the Enter key on your keyboard. Or left click the Google Search button.
Google will search billions of websites and display a list of relevant search results.
If you want to visit the website of a search result, move your cursor on top of the blue text. The cursor changes to a hand, and the blue text will be underlined. Left click once on this text to open the website.
